You eat them, drink them, use them as medicine, and grow them to beautify your home. Yet most people know very little about the plants they depend on. It's time to see the world differently — to recognize, identify, and understand the plants that sustain your life.

The Problem

A broken system

For decades, botany has been taught the wrong way. The system forces students to memorize thousands of Latin names instead of showing them the simple patterns that connect all plants.

Around the world, schools and universities no longer teach botany in a practical, engaging way. This has created a global disconnection.

People are surrounded by plants, but they are disconnected from their meaning and importance. This leads to costly mistakes in landscaping, dangerous errors in medicine, and failed conservation projects.

The Guide

A new way to see plants

Botapreneurs understands the high stakes of this knowledge gap. We know how a lack of plant knowledge makes people suffer — whether by using plants incorrectly for health or by wasting millions on failed environmental projects.

Our founder, William Cinéa, has lived this problem. When he started the Cayes Botanical Garden, he was a passionate leader, but he quickly realized he didn't truly understand plants. By building a scientific institution, he had to learn botany — not the abstract way, but the practical way. This journey led him to earn a Master in Botanical Garden Leadership from Cornell University.

He discovered the secret: you don't need to memorize botany. You need to learn how to see it. His mission is to make plant knowledge accessible, simple, and practical.

Your Plan

3 steps to start thinking like a botanist

We make learning plants easy and achievable for anyone.

1

Learn the basics

Discover the simple logic of how plants grow, reproduce, and interact with their environment.

2

Recognize the patterns

Learn to identify the major plant families. Once you see the patterns, you can't unsee them.

3

Apply your knowledge

Use your new skills to immediately improve your work — whether it's in your garden, your community, or your business.

The Stakes

The two paths before you

If you do nothing, you will continue to feel that gap in your knowledge. You'll keep relying on guesswork and risking costly mistakes, never feeling fully confident in your expertise. But if you act now, you can fill this gap — move from 'plant user' to 'plant expert' and gain the unshakable confidence that comes from true understanding.
